Barbara Marie Stricker

Barbara Marie Stricker, 79, of Fort Meade, FL, died Tuesday, April 17, 2012 at her home. Barbara was born May 17, 1932 in Des Moines, Iowa and was raised Methodist. She was a Beautician & owned Barbara's Beauty Shop, she later became a Certified Nurse Assistant. She is survived by her husband; Herbert Stricker of Key West. Daughter; Susan Gnapp & husband Steven of Key West. Three Sons; Rex Bland of Fort Meade, Alan Stricker and Ronald Stricker. Grandchildren; Tammy Gnapp, Andrea Akkerman, Nicki Stricker, Amy Stricker, Ronnie Stricker and Dawn Marie. Great Grandchildren; James, Alisa, Steven, Alex, Anna and Great Great Granddaughter, Elana.Arrangements are being handled by McLean Funeral Home, 305 East Broadway, Fort Meade, FL where the family will receive friends from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2012. Funeral service will be at McLean Funeral Home at 2:00 PM, Friday, April 20, 2012, Rev. Terry L. Coe officiating. Interment will be at Evergreen, Fort Meade, FL.
