Barbara O'Hara

Barbara O'Hara, age 61, passed away from cancer Sunday, October 7, 2007 at her home in Homeland. Born on March 30, 1946 in Belle Glade, FL, Mrs. O'Hara has been a longtime Polk County resident. She had worked as a fruit packer for Alturas Packing Company for 15 years. She was a baptist. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband of 46 years, Robert L. O'Hara of Homeland, her son, Robert D. O'Hara of Canton, GA, her three daughters; Teresa Ward of Lake Wales, Patricia Trejo, and Autumn O'Hara both of Homeland. She also leaves behind a sister, Carolyn Dunnway of Auburndale, seven grandchildren, and one great grandchild. Family will receive friends Tuesday evening, Oct. 9, 2007 from 6 PM to 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, 650 East Main Street in Bartow.
