Barbara Pattey Ginther

Barbara Pattey Ginther, at 82, passed away Saturday, February17, 2018 at her home in Winter Haven. Born May 28, 1935 in Bartow, she was the daughter of the late James Kendrall and Grace Pauline (Shepherd) Pattey. Mrs. Ginther attended the First United Methodist Church of Bartow for many years. After many years of service, she retired from the Polk County Clerk of the Courts, where she worked as a Jury Manager. She is survived by a loving family that includes her son Richard K. Ginther (Debra) of Bartow, her grandsons: Richard K. Ginther, II, (Jennifer) of Winter Haven, Nickles A Ginther (Britni) of Lakeland, her great grandchildren: Brent K. Ginther, Levi Ginther, Rilynn Grace Ginther, and Evelyn Ginther. She also leaves behind extended family members: Heath Holloway, Brian Holloway, David Sturm, and Chad Sturm. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 24th at 11:00am at the United Community Church, 2301 Noralyn Mine Road in Bartow.
