Barbara C. Lawrence

Bartow- Barbara C. Lawrence, born on November 4, 1932, passed away peacefully at home among her loving family on July 14, 2014 of heart failure. She was preceded in death by her loving husband and high school sweetheart, George E. Lawrence. Barbara was a homemaker and a talented artist. She was a faithful member of the Bartow Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. She will be forever remembered by her three daughters: Karen Meeks [Kenny] of Bartow; Margaret Birge [Tim] of Eagle Lake & Cindy Blanco [Dale] of Knoxville, TN; a son: George "Ford" Lawrence [Teresa] of Jacksonville; two sisters: Sue Lake [Richard] of Bartow & Mary Ellen Hendricks [Gus] of Houston, TX; 13 grandchildren & 9 great grandchildren. Family will receive friends Friday, July 18, 2014 from 6 - 8 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 19, 2014, at 11:00 AM at the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church, 205 E. Stanford St, Bartow.
