Ava Crooks Hayes

Mrs. Ava Crooks Hayes, age 63, of Abbeville, AL, died Saturday, April 26, 2008, in a Dothan Hospital. Mrs Hayes was born in Bartow, and was the daughter of the late George Elbert Crooks and Susie Marie Whidden Crooks. She lived in Bonita Springs, FL most of her lifetime before moving to Abbeville in January 2007. Mrs. Hayes was of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her Husband; Mr. Wayne Ireland Hayes of Abbeville, AL. Daughter; Glenda Duncan of Warren, Ohio Two Sons; Lee Coyer of Bonita Springs, FL and Tom Coyer & wife Tina Wilson of Bonita Springs, FL. Sister; Sandra & husband Bob Kless of Abbeville, AL Five Grandchildren; Michael Meester, Donald Coyer, Jon Duncan, Jessica Duncan and Jason Duncan. Two Great Grandchildren Elizabeth Meester and Nevaeh Duncan. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:40 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Graveside at Wildwood Cemetery at 3:00 PM Monday, April 28, 2008, Dr. Ronald L. Burks officiating. Interment will be at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow, FL.
