Austin Craig Welch

Austin Craig Welch passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Bartow. Born October 14, 1997 in Goshen, Indiana, he lived in Bartow most of his life. Austin was a student at Bartow High School and enjoyed skateboarding with his friends. He always looked to help others and loved his family in Bartow, as well as Goshen. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother and friend who passed away heroically. He is survived by his mother Barbara Engle (Curtis Droz) of Bartow, his father Michael Welch of Goshen, IN, his siblings: Crystal Droz, Phoenix Welch, Scott Engle , Lucas Stickney, Noah Droz, Triston Droz, Jacob Droz, and Taylor Welch. He also leaves behind his grandparents: Carol Welch, Peggy DeLucenay, and Ann Droz, as well as many other extended family members and friends. The family will receive friends Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 10am to 12pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
