Austin Uhlan Fralic

Austin Uhlan Fralic, age 85, passed away Saturday, March 24, 2018 in Bartow and was born April 8, 1932 in Butler, AL. He was the son of the late Charlie Austin and Elsie Naomi (Allen) Fralic. Mr. Fralic was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served during the Korean War era. He worked as a Mechanical Welder in the Phosphate Industry for many years. Mr. Fralic was a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Fort Meade. Along with his parents, he is preceded in death by his wife Nina Fralic, his son Mark Fralic and his great grandson, Rhett O'Neal. Mr. Fralic is survived by a loving family that includes his four daughters: Susan Tenney (Fred) of Lakeland, Marilynn Markle (Bill) of Bloomsburg, PA, Jeannie Cribbs (Mike) of Asheville, NC, and Marcie O'Neal (Kevin) of Lakeland. He also leaves behind his two step daughters: Tonya Owens of Fort Meade, Vikki Quick of Dexter, MO, his brother Woodie Fralic of Bartow, his sister Marie Wheeler of Lakeland and many grandchildren and great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 28th from 5pm to 7pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral services will follow on Thursday, March 29th at 2:00pm at the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade.
