Audre Comello Brooks

Audre Comello Brooks, age 78, passed away Monday, July 4, 2016 in Taveres, FL. Mrs. Brooks was born on November 18, 1937 in Cincinnati, OH. At the beginning of her career in aviation and travel, Audre was a stewardess for American Airlines. Later she worked in corporate aviation for Federated Deptartment stores in Cincinnati for many years where she met her husband Jack. Upon moving to Longwood, FL in 1978, she worked as a Certified Travel Consultant. She finished her career at Universe Travel in Heathrow, FL. Audre was an avid traveler both in the United States as well as abroad, traveling to over 100 countries, until her retirement in 1999. Audre was an animal lover. She voluntered at the Humane Society and helped raise numerous different species of exotic animals and primates, Capuchin monkeys were her favorite. She is survived by a loving family that includes her husband, of 46 years, Jack T. Brooks of Umatilla, her children: Timothy P. Brooks, DVM (Marcia) of Bartow, Dawn M. Dennaoui (Degaulle) of Orlando, her sister Patricia Young (William) of Bellevue, KY, and three grandchildren: Jack, Grace, and Gabrielle.
