Atlee W. Davis

Atlee W. Davis, age 83, passed away surrounded by family and friends on Mon., March 21, 2016. Atlee was born on July 26, 1932 in Bartow and was a lifelong area resident. Mr. Davis was a U.S. Army veteran and an Associate Reformed Presbyterian. Atlee worked as a farmer in cattle and citrus industries most of his life. He is survived by his wife of 56 years Ginger Davis, daughter, Elizabeth Sowders (Dean), brothers: Zack Davis (Judy), Paul Davis (Marilyn), and granddaughters: Lorely Dedrick, and Jessica Harton (John). The family will receive friends Thursday, March 24th from 5pm to 6pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 6:00pm at the funeral home chapel.
