In Loving Memory of Arya

With broken hearts and endless love, we announce the passing of our beloved daughter, Arya, who left this world far too soon at the age of 8.

Arya was a vibrant, fearless, and beautifully spirited little girl who brought light to everyone around her. Full of confidence and playful sass, she embraced life with pure joy, whether she was practicing gymnastics, skating around the ballpark, or creating imaginative works of art. Her fierce spirit, her laughter, her creativity, and her love will continue to guide us each and every day. Though we can no longer hold her hand, we will hold her in our hearts forever.

Arya was born in Lakeland on February 26, 2018 survived by her parents, Eric and Miranda Witmer, sister Chloe, brother Dylan, and countless close family and friends who will carry her memory with them always.

A celebration of Arya’s life will be held Wednesday, June 24, 2026 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Graveside service will be 10:00 am Thursday, June 25, 2026 at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL. Family and friends are invited to gather to honor her memory, share stories, and celebrate the joy she brought into our world.

With such overwhelming support already provided, in lieu of flowers or further support, please consider sponsoring a child in your local youth sports/hobby program for a season or a month. These have been a foundation of joy and friendship for her. (i.e. Bartow Youth Baseball, Nova Gymnastics, Sanctify Jiu Jitsu, or any close to your hearts)
