Art age 84 passed away December 25, 2023. Art attended Brevard College in 1961 and FSU in 1963. He graduated with a major in Insurance and Risk Management with a minor in Real Estate. Art enjoyed sailing, photography and military history. He enlisted in the Air Force Reserves in 1964. After 33 years of service retired as a Chief Master Sargent. His military service included manager of Squadron Operations. Chief Campbell was awarded the Meritorious Service Medal with eight devices, Commendation Medal, Outstanding Unit Award with two devices, National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Humanitarian Service Medal, Air Force Longevity Service Award Ribbon with two devices, Armed Forces Reserve Medal, Armed forces Defense Medal with two devices, Small Arms and Expert Marksmanship Ribbon. Art was an independent agent with Gulfstream Insurance Group, Inc. and retired in 2017. He spent twenty years previously with Liberty Mutual Insurance He was made an honorary member of the Black Watch, Royal Highland Regiment of Canada in 1996. He was a life member of the clan Campbell Society of North America. He served as Clan Campbell commissioner of Florida for ten years. He was a founding member of Scottish America Society of Southeast Florida. Art was the past President of Gold Coast CPCU chapter in Boca Raton and past Skippers of the Fort Lauderdale Mariners Club and Tampa Bay Mariners Club. He was preceded in death by his first wife of 42 years Maureen FitzGerald Campbell and sons Andrew and Christopher. He is survived by siblings, Greg, Karen and Stef and second wife Harriet Hallock Campbell. He enjoyed his extended family with his marriage to Harriet. Services, January 6, 2024 at First Presbyterian Church of Bartow at 11:00 AM.
