Antero M. Ortiz, Sr.

Fort Meade - Antero M. Ortiz, Sr., 66 passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017 at Lakeland Regional Medical Center. He was born January 25, 1951 in Muzquiz, Mexico. He was a Crew leader in the Citrus Industry. He was Catholic. He survived by his Wife of 47 years Ludivina Ortiz of Fort Meade. Three daughters; Sonia Morales (Eduardo) of Lakeland, Leonela Miranda (Federico) and Silvia Ortiz (Ramon) both of Fort Meade. Three sons; Antero Ortiz, Jr. (Cindy), David Ortiz (Bacilia) and Sergio Ortiz (Susie) all of Fort Meade. Four brothers; Homero Ortiz, Juan Ortiz, Martin Ortiz and Alvaro Ortiz, three sisters; Guadalupe Gonzalez, Maria Sanchez and Ludivina Plata, twenty-two grandchildren and four great-granddaughters. Family will receive friends Monday, September 4, 2017 from 5 to 7 pm at McLean Funeral Home in Fort Meade. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, September 5, 2017 at 11:00 am at St. Elizabeth Catholic Church, 101 Edgewood Drive in Fort Meade. Interment will be held at Evergreen Cemetery in Fort Meade, FL.
