Annie Faye Weldon

Myakka City - Annie Faye Weldon, 75, passed away Saturday, February 23, 2013 at Tidewell Hospice House in Ellenton, FL of complications due to diabetes. Born March 13, 1937 in Havana, FL, Mrs. Weldon was a resident of Myakka City for 16 years, moving from Bradenton. She was a Deli & cake decorator for Publix Supermarkers for 19 years. Mrs. Weldon was preceded in death by her husband Laverne Weldon. She is survived by her son: Richard Weldon (Angela] of Myakka City; sister: Carolyn Barefoot of Rocky Face, GA; brother: Henry Whittle; two granddaughters: Rebecca Agule & Jennifer Weldon. Family will receive friends Tuesday, February 26, 2013 from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, February 27, 2013, at 10:00 AM at the funeral home. Interment in Bartow Wildwood Cemetery.
