Annie Thompson

Mrs. Annie C. Thompson passed away Tuesday, June 5, 2007 from heart failure at her home in Bartow. She was 80. Born June 21, 1926 in Hornbeak, Tenn. the daughter of the late Avery and Lena Miller, she moved to Bartow 37 years ago from Arkansas. Mrs. Thompson was a homemaker and a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Mrs. Thompson is survived by her husband of 61 years; Lester B. Thompson, four sons; Richard Thompson (Pam) of Casselberry, William David Thompson (Judy) of Hampton, Jerry Michael Thompson (Wanda) of Beverly Hills, FL, Leslie Thompson (Chris) of Batavia, OH, three daughters; Patricia Ann Thompson of Bartow, Sharon Kay Thompson of Lakeland, Pamela Lynn AThompson of Bartow, seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Visitation will be Friday, June 8, 2007 at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow from 6 PM to 8 PM. Services for Mrs. Thompson will be held Saturday June 9, 2007 at 2 PM at the funeral home chapel.
