Annie Louise Richardson

Annie Louise Richardson, a lifelong resident of Bartow and retired SunBank Loan Officer, passed away at the age of 81 surrounded by her loving family on June 9, 2021. Annie (“Nannie” or “Aunt Annie” to so many) is survived by her sister Gloria Jones and her brothers Mildford (wife Lawana), Butch (wife Brenda), David (wife Angela), Gary. She was preceded in death by her brothers Jimmy (widow Janice) and Smokey. She is lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and lots of extended family and friends. Annie spent her life helping and caring for those she loved, and nothing was more important to her than family. Nanny has lived the past 11 years with her nephew Derek Richardson and his wonderful fiancé Shannon White who have lovingly and selflessly cared for her these past few months as her health declined along with the support and assistance of her Sister Gloria. Our family is so grateful for their commitment and sacrifices. Visitation will be held at Whidden- McLean Funeral Home on Friday, June 18, 2021 from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM. A Graveside Service will be held on Saturday, June 19, 2021 at 1:00 PM at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Good Shepard Hospice.
