Anne Lockwood Reigle, 95, died Friday, March 20, 2009, at Oceanside Hospice Care in Ormond Beach. Born December 31, 1913 in Bartow, Mrs Reigle has been a lifelong resident of the area. She was employed in the accounting department with the Board of County Commissioners for many years. Mrs. Reigle attended both the Holy Trinty Episcopal Church in Bartow and St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Winter Haven. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Polk County Bromeliad Society. She is preceded in death by her husbands: John Rice and C.D. Reigle. She is survived by her son: J. W. "Webb" Rice & wife Sherry, Winter Haven; 4 daughters: Theodora Rice "Doshia" Porta, Daytona Beach; Elaine Reigle Burge, Decatur, GA; Virginia Reigle, Fairview Heights, IL; Ruth Reigle Smith & husband Ralph, Simpsonville, SC.; 12 Grandchildren: Stacey Rice Wease, Wadesboro, NC; Lyndsey Rice Fox, Beech Mountain, NC; Teresa Ball, Decatur, GA; Jeffery Manry, Loganville, GA; Benjamin Manry, Waleska, GA; Tony Knowlton, Fairview Heights, IL; Kemp Knowlton, Virginia Beach, VA; Timothy Smith, Cummings GA; Kathryn Smith, Tampa; Miriam Rodrique, Greenville, SC; Sharon Watson, Guasave, Mex; Martha Weber, Greenville, SC; 18 Great Grandchildren & 2 Great great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Monday, March 23, 3:00 pm at Saint Paul's Episcopal Church, 656 Avenue L, NW, Winter Haven. Interment will follow at Wildwood Cemetery in Bartow.
