Ann H. Register

Mrs. Ann H. Register, age 68, passed away from cancer Monday, November 2, 2009 at her home in Alturas. Born March 18, 1941 in Lake Wales, Mrs. Register was the daughter of the late Robert and Alma Haslett. Mrs. Register was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Alturas. She also worked for Heartland Supply Co. for 40 years as a bookkeeper. Ann was also very well known for owning and operating Ann's School of Dance in Bartow. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter Dee Hazen and husband Kevin of Lakeland, her son Mike Register and wife Jennifer of Bartow, three brothers; Mike Haslett of Rockingham, NC, Bob Haslett and wife Debbie of St. Pete Beach, and Tom Haslett of St. Petersburg. She also leave behind seven grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and her former husband Brooks B. Register of Alturas.
