Angela Mitchell

Angela Mitchell, age 65, passed away Saturday, July1, 2017 at her home in Bartow. Born January 27, 1952 in Valparaiso, FL, she was the daughter of Clarence Decater and Edna Louise (Watson) Brogen. Angela was a homemaker and will be remembered as an amazing daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and was a friend to all that knew her. She is preceded in death by her son Tony Dean. Angela is survived by her husband George Mitchell, Sr., her children: Michelle Ussery Harper (Joe Berkauzer), David "Boomer" Ussery, Daniel Ussery (Sabrina), David "Shorty" Ussery (Tish), Bobby Torrence (Christine), Corina Stevens (Paul), and George "Jr." Mitchell, Jr. (Sabrina Hrabal). She also leaves behind her siblings: Harry Brogen, James Brogen, Marty Keen, Betty Picha, Marie Burnette, thirty-three grandchildren, and twenty-three great grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 6th from 10am to 11am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 11:00am at the funeral home chapel.
