Amanda A. Dawson

Bartow - Amanda A. Dawson, age 28, passed away Friday, February 19, 2021 at her residence in Bartow. Born October 25, 1992 in Brandon, FL, Mrs. Dawson was a resident of Bartow for three years, from Lakeland. She was a Financial Coordinator for Bright Smiles Dentistry in Winter Haven for several years. Formerly Amanda was with the Board of Polk County Commissioners for several years. She attended the Namesake Apostolic Church, Lake Wales. She was an avid reader, enjoyed visiting the Disney Parks and watching sunsets. She is survived by a loving family including her husband: Michael E. Dawson, Jr. Bartow; mother & step father: Laura & James Schafer, Lakeland; brother: Matthew Alfonso also of Lakeland. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 23, 2021 from 1:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow, funeral services will follow at 2:00 PM at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland. In lew of flowers memorials may be given to the family.
