Alice Marie Thomason

Alice M. Thomason, age 88, passed away Monday, October 26, 2015 in Lakeland. Born July 20, 1927 in Scotland, IL, she was the daughter of Arthur and Elizabeth Gill. Alice was a homemaker and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church of Highland City. She is preceded in death by her son James G. Thomason. Alice is survived by her husband of 59 years, James E. Thomason of Lakeland, two sons: Charles Thomason (Cathy) of Richmond, IN, John Thomason (Nancy) of Lakeland, five grandchildren and five great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Monday, November 2nd from 5pm to 6pm at the First Baptist Church of Highland City, 5410 Yarborough Lane, Lakeland, FL 33812 . Funeral services will follow at 6:00pm at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Highland City.
