Alfred "Big Al" Pridgen

Lakeland-Alfred "Big Al" Pridgen, age 77, passed away March 16, 2021 at St. Joseph's Hospital in Tampa. He was born on July 6, 1943 in Lakeland, FL. He worked as a Well Driller for 50 years. He loved working in the garden and fishing. He also enjoyed cooking and spending time with his family and friends. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Carlane Pridgen of Highland City, daughters Cindy Pridgen Scarbary (Curtis) of Wedowee, AL, Ronda Pridgen (Jonathan Myers) of Highland City, Terry Lynn Cerekwicki of Lakeland, son Jefferson Pridgen of Crystal River, brother Albert K. Pridgen of Fort Lauderdale, 11 grandchildren,11 great grandchild and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends on Saturday, March 20, 2021 from 12PM -1PM at Whidden- McLean Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Oak Hill Burial Park, Lakeland.
