Alex Christopher Houghton

Bartow- Alex Christopher Houghton, 18, died Monday, April 13, 2009, at Tampa General Hospital as a result of an auto accident. Born January 28, 1990 in McComb County, MI, Alex has been a lifelong resident of Bartow. He was a student of Roosevelt Academy in Lake Wales. He was a member of Main Street Baptist Church in Bartow, active in the children's church and youth group. He was a part time custodian with the Bartow area schools. He is survived by his father & mother: Roy L. Houghton of Bartow & Kimberly Leach of Wauchula. 2 brothers: Todd Leach of Norfolk, VA & Michael Houghton of Bartow, 2 sisters: Kaylee Houghton & Elily Houghton, both of Bartow. Family will receive friiends Tuesday, April 21, 6-7 pm at Main Street Baptist Church, 1140 E. Main Street, Bartow. Funeral services will follow at 7 pm at the Church.
