Alcus E. Aycock

Alcus E. Aycock age 100, passed away Friday June 16, 2016 in Winter Haven. Born January 3, 1916 in Geneva, AL, he was the son of the late Joe F. and Fannie Mae Aycock. Alcus was a longtime resident of Homeland and was a member of the 1st Baptist Church of Homeland. He retired from Ben Hill Griffin where he worked as a manager in the boiler room. Mr. Aycock is preceded in death by his daughter Glenda Langdon. He is survived by his granddaughter, Wendi M. Ross (Mike) of Winter Haven, son in law David Langdon, his great grandchildren: Kristen Ross, Holli Ross, Tessa Ross, Tiffany Lenti, Stephanie Lenti, and his great great grandson Jase Harrison. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 18th at 10:00am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow.
