Alan Dale Thompson

Avon Park - Alan D. Thompson, age 69, passed away Tuesday, September 10, 2024. He was born October 24, 1954 in Bartow, FL to Jack & Jessie Thompson. Alan worked in many different fields in his lifetime, he was Radiator Repairman, worked in Construction, Manager of Church's Chicken and the Wholesale Flower business. He was a proud member of the NRA and Bassmasters. He loved his Lord, family and friends greatly. Alan is survived by his daughter Kimberly Lambert & husband Seth of Avon Park, two grandchildren Connor Lambert and Kendal Lambert, two sisters Cynthia Mulvihill & husband Tommy and Teresa Walter & husband Danny, brother Alex Thompson & wife Margaret and numerous nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Saturday, September 28, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL.
