Alan R. Allen

Alan R. Allen, 73, of Fort Meade, FL, went to be with the Lord, March 7, 2012 from a long & very courageous battle with cancer. Alan was born November 2, 1938 in Dushore, PA. He served in the US Army and was a faithful member of the Methodist Church. Alan retired from IBM after 38 years. The Allen's moved to Fort Meade in 2001 from Johnson City, NY. Alan was a member of the Fort Meade American Legion and the Moose Lodge. He is survived by his wife of 15 years Lucy Allen of Fort Meade. Two Daughters; Karen Mack & husband Ken and Mary Wessel both of Endicott, NY. Son: David Allen & wife Christy of Johnson City, NY. Sister; Charlotte Moore & husband George of Richmond, VA. Four Grandchildren; Kenndra, Keilee, Mitchell & Hailey and Two Nephews. Memorial Service will be Friday, March 9, 2012 10:00 AM at First United Methodist Church at 135 East Broadway Ave in Fort Meade.
