Aida Delgado

Lakeland - Aida Delgado, age 89, passed away July 10, 2022, at Good Shephard Hospice - Lakeland. She was born on August 31, 1932, in Manati, Puerto Rico. She was a wonderful Home Maker and extremely artistic. In her spare time, Aida created beautiful works of art that she shared with family. She loved the Lord with all her heart. Most of all she loved being a mother and spending time with her family. She was preceded in death by her husband Antonio Delgado, sisters Iris Silva & Carmen Rively and her granddaughter Ashley Delgado. She is survived by a loving family that includes her daughter Elba Delgado- Benitez and son Rudy Delgado; grandchildren Kerima Delgado, Talia Delgado, Liana Perez and Alex Perez; great-grandchildren Aliya Rosado, Zahara Ahmed, Amana Ahmed, Julissa Cortez, Lennox Moss, Deen Ahmed, Lawrence Moss and London Moss; sisters Irma Toapanta, Sandra Rodriguez, Mildred Rodriguez and Sonia Rodriguez as well as many nieces and nephews. Family will receive friends Thursday, July 14, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 8:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, July 14, 2022, at 6:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Florida National Cemetery on Friday, July 15th.
