Agnes Jean Eakins

Fort Meade - Agnes Jean Eakins, 81, passed away Friday, April 1, 2016. Agnes was born December 17, 1934 in South Fork, PA, She was a Administrative Assistant for Curtis Industries. She was of the Protestant Faith. Agnes and her husband Edwin Eakins moved to Fort Meade in 2004 from Shelbyville, KY. She is survived by her husband of 62 years Edwin Eakins, two sons; David Eakins (Carol) of Crofton, MD and Dennis Eakins of North Holmsted, OH, daughter; Dianne "Dee" Smith (Kevin) of Mt. Eden, KY, Six grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Agnes was preceded in death by her parents Howard & Elgie Bumford, brother; George Bumford and sister; Marian Mulvihill.
