Bartow - Agapito Cruz, age 96, passed away August 17, 2022, at his residence in Bartow. He was born on July 20, 1926, in Mexico. He worked as a Laborer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and playing musical instruments. He was preceded in death by his daughter Josefina Cruz and wife Olivia DelaCruz. He is survived by a loving family that includes his wife Maria Cruz of Bartow, daughters Elizabeth Ramirez (Enrique) of Bartow, Olivia Espinoza (Jesus) of San Benito, TX, Elena Cruz of ID & Maria L. Cruz of Pocatello, ID, sons Juan Cruz (Oralia Rodriquez) of Alturas, Armando Cruz of Wahneta, Isaias Cruz of Bartow & Agapito "Pete" Cruz, Jr of Wahneta, sister Victoria Mendez of Mexico, many grandchildren, many great grandchildren, and many nieces & nephews. Family will receive friends Monday, August 22, 2022, from 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home, Bartow. Funeral service will be held Tuesday, August 23, 2022, at 11:00 AM at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Eagle Lake Cemetery, Eagle Lake.
