Abe Moss

Abe Moss, age 83, passed away Saturday, May 24, 2025. He was born June 17, 1941 in Dille, WV to Lanty & Leah Moss. Abe served in the US Navy. He was a UPS Truck Driver for 31 years. Abe was a member of the Bartow American Legion Post 3. He was preceded in death by his siblings Betty Starcher, Paul Moss, Chester Moss, Charlie Moss, Russell Moss & Billy Moss and his granddaughter Mallory Carter. Abe is survived by his wife of 58 years Judy A. Moss of Bartow, three daughters Teresa Shelton & husband Donnie, Dawn Hinck & husband Tom and Heather Bunch & husband Justin, five grandchildren Cole Shelton, Leah Shelton, Jimmy Hinck, Justin Hinck and Abigail Carter. Family will receive friends Thursday, May 29, 2025 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Whidden-McLean Funeral Home in Bartow, FL. Graveside service will be held at 10:00 am Friday, May 30, 2025, at Oak Hill Burial Park in Lakeland, FL. In lieu of flowers please make a donation to VITAS Hospice or the Alzheimer's Association.
