Roy C. Ray, 58, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2012 at his residence in Highland City of heart failure. Born June 14, 1954 in Fort Bragg, NC, he has been a resident of Highland City for over 36 yrs, moving from Bartow. He was a heavy equipment operator in the phosphate industry for many years. Mr. Ray is survived by his loving wife of 38 years: Debbie C. Ray of Highland City; his mother: Patsy Greenwell of Blountstown, FL; two brothers: Clifford Greenwell of Marianna, FL, & John Greenwell of Bartow; four sisters: Charmaine Hunter & husband Danny of Altha, FL; Sharon Olliff of Bartow; Annie Stutts of Mulberry & Margaret Greenwell of Blountstown & numerous neices & nephews.
